Finally played Crackdown on the 360 over the weekend, and I must say that it was much enjoyable experience then Halo 3 had to offer. Its still funny to remember that Crackdown was once referred to as the "Halo 3 beta with a full game" package deal. It the super hero jumping and lifting heavy things; maybe kicking the bad guys car off of a cliff that really make this game fun. However I'm now at the last and third gang; which is the East Asian Shai-Gen lead by the enigmatic Wang (tee-hee). This game has a Mercenaries feel to it, were you're actions are being closely monitored and you're hunting leaders of major crime outfits. It looks like that game has to free downloads which include a cheat editor (which halts the progress of the game)and more character models to use. Too bad the game doesn't have motorcycles or aircrafts to use, just some to drive around with that can move around then the cars. My only problem is the jumping and the camera, when in enclosed areas both mention really make the game a little troublesome. Also the respawning enemys that appear out of nowhere, sometimes right in front of you.
Also I downloaded Sin & Punishment (mindless shooter fun) and Super Mario Bros. 3 (classic) to my virtual console. Here's hoping that I'll see Double Dragon 2 and Jet Force Gemini on the VC sometime this year.
Over the weekend I did some request drawing for follow 1uppers and asked them what video game characters they would like to see. Well here is what the wanted, enjoy
This was a request coming from Alice-in-Gaming and believe it or not, Alice in Wonderland is a videogame character.
In 2002, EA released a Alice, a sequel to Alice in Wonderland which was designed by American Mcgee. Shortly after her second adventure, Alice's parents are killed in a fire - of which she is the only survivor. Becoming catatonic she is institutionalized in Rutledge Asylum. Years later, the White Rabbit summons Alice to aid a radically altered Wonderland, now under the despotic rule of the Queen of Hearts. The Cheshire Cat in particular now looks very different from Sir John Tenniel's original illustration: he is shown here as skeletally thin and his grin looks more devious than mischievous. When he first appears in the game, Alice comments, "You've gone quite mangy, cat, but your grin's a comfort." The cat serves as Alice's constant companion throughout the game, frequently appearing to guide her or offer advice. Dark Stuff.
The Fifth request comes from Zombrows and he wanted some Peach.
I was think about drawing her in a realist way, but that felt wrong. Wrong, Wrong, Wrong.
Sixth request went to The Total Package and he wanted Capcom's Maximo.
I have never drawn her before, now I have.

I posted this on my 1up blog:
Finally managed to catch two episodes of Lost last night, and they were amazing. The first episode was about Desmond and his ability to send his conscious back into time, a side effect to season two's event where Jack did not punch the code into the machine. Allow the hatch to blow up and release high amounts of electromagnetic radiation. The last few months were incredibly powerful and moving in which Desmond finally was able to talk to someone he left behind years ago. The second episode was about Juliet, the fertility scientist who we know had relationship with the Other who was courting Ana Lucia in Season 2 before she killed him. Another factor introduced was that the rescuers from the freighter ship were assigned to stop the poison gas facility which Ben used before and the Juliet was suppose to kill them before the suceeded. Finally we know that Ben has obsession with Julient and has the reason why Goodwin(the man Juliet was seeing) was sent to find out about the survivors of Oceanic 815. Yeah I seen some of season 1 and most season 2, but the last half of season 3 but I had to go to wikipedia to remember most to the names; also to avoid spelling their names wrong.
Finally just two days until Brawl, but sadly I won't be playing online. Last month I checked with the Nintendo Wi-fi site and saw that there was an update for Vista users. However after installing it four times and not getting any results, I found out the Vista is killjoy. That is was unnecessary Operating System upgrade and everything about it has been a pain in the ass ever since I got my new computer back in June. My PS3 can't go online unless I unhook my computer's ether net cable and connect it to my PS3. Even then most of the online capabilities are taken away (no online play) and I can only web browse and use the PSN store. Sighs Stupid Vista.
I tried buying an overly expensive Wi-fi router back on Christmas but I couldn't get the damn thing to work. Ended up taking it back for refund which they nearly didn't give me.
I have been trying to paint more over the last few months, but the process does take a while and sometimes I rather lazy when doing art. But here is some pieces that I haven't shown anywhere's else and they are most perspective/still life/ scenery artwork. Right now I just use arcylic paints on gummed water color paper, and sometimes I will use canvas boards as well. I trying to build up a portfolio for art school, but this isn't my first time applying; I have been denied at least four times. All due to my high school grades which weren't overly amazing but decent enough for my to graduate. So sometime before the first April I believe that I have to create more "perspective/still life/scenery" artwork for my portfolio and try write up a 500 word letter of entent. Part of me wants to do this, and the other half doesn't care any more. But I do enjoy painting and I want to get better at it, so look forward to more painting later on. Maybe.
